How can a new non-profit leader or development professional learn the skills needed to be successful- creating positive and productive relationships with their board members, meeting the needs of their constituents, building their professional networks, achieving success as fundraisers, and setting goals and priorities for action?

Table for Five is a time-tested, peer-to-peer process that offers new leaders and development professionals support, knowledge, and accountability to meet the demands of modern non-profit and foundation leadership.

Table for Five uses the Mastermind format- a small group of peers in a confidential setting, drawing on the knowledge and experience of each member, along with timely training and coaching from a seasoned pro. Here, you can share your challenges and successes, receive focused coaching, and grow as a professional in an atmosphere of trust.

Who can benefit?

Are you the only fundraising professional on staff? Or are you a CEO with fundraising and development responsibilities? Have you been i your current role as a fundraiser for 3 years or less? Joining a Table for 5 will give you the support, training, and network to achieve more fundraising and philanthropic success.

All participants complete a brief screening questionnaire that identifies their goals, challenges, and learning objectives. You will be placed within a peer group to assure your experiences, needs, and concerns are shared by other members of the group. All meetings and information is strictly confidential, contained within the Table’s membership.

Members meet twice a month via Zoom for 2.5 hours of focused work and problem solving. Each member is expected to attend, participate, and share their challenges and successes.

What to expect

During the meeting you will receive timely training on topics that will help you work more efficiently and effectively. You will be able to offer knowledge and advice and brainstorm possible solutions. Each meeting includes time to share goals, successes, and challenges.

If you are ready to use your time effectively, feel more confident in your decisions and plans, and build a network of peers who understand the pressures and complexities of the job, then Table for 5 can help you move forward and accelerate your learning curve.
